About us

CERES (Center for the Study of Economic and Social Affairs) is an independent and nonprofit research center specializing in public policies. It focuses on analyzing economic and social affairs, creating public policies and promoting its debates at the local level and in international forums with the purpose of motivating changes that improve people’s living standards. Since 1985, CERES has been a leading institution regarding its subjects of study and analysis, making the acquired learnings accessible to the decision-makers.

Additionally, CERES has contributed to the training of dozens of young adults who have had distinguished career paths locally and internationally. CERES is able to conduct its mission because of the support of monthly subscribed members committed to the country’s development.
